One needed addition is keys, hanging from one of the brooches. Also, I remember reading somewhere that viking women didn't traditionally wear belts, but I sure need mine to carry around my stuff.
There is also more views in my scraps ofthe belt, etc. You should also take a look at ~Brahdelt's gallery. Lots of viking costumes there too !

As I am typing this, I'm also in IRC with a very opinionated and knowledgeable American artist who has been keeping an eye on developments in the field. She insists that the fabrics would have been far more decorated and complex. I hope she can retrieve the source material she bases that on. I'm still hoping for more variety in the designs as well, because I can't make all my characters wear the same combinations. It would cause bad blood between them.

I would sure be interested to hear more about those fabrics...
It sounds plausible on the face of it, because the jewelry that the Norse made was so good. That shows they paid attention to detail and craftsmanship, and it stands to reason that they'd do the same with their fabrics.
However, all mainstream reconstructions that I've seen show simple fabrics (and as a cartoonist, I'm actually happy with that. I'll have to draw each outfit a couple dozen times even in a short story).
