Small child watching a porcupine, shot at Emmen Zoo with my cell phone camera.
I don't do a lot of photography, but I'm interested in getting into it. I don't want to invest in a real camera until I have a habit of using the cell phone camera, but the slowness of the cell phone and the lack of zoom are definitely a handicap here. I took several shots of two porcupines fighting, with spines raised and all, but by the time the camera finally clicked, they would have moved from where I had focused on them, and the pics all came out blurred. This one is all right though.
Ah well. You don't learn to play the violin on a Stradivarius, and I doubt I'd have gotten any art-quality photos out of a proper camera anyway.

Well, I think this Photo is pretty outstanding. And I don't say this just to be nice. The small child watching this big porcupine is an original and very uncommon subject. It defintely hast a great appeal. Boy, When I think of all the useless photos that are uploaded on DA, photos that have absolutely nothing artistc but are mostly vacation Pics which aren't of any interest for others, this one comes as a real artistic shot.
