Opiyo with a Resurgent elder

Still trying to develop the style for Fury of the Plains and build out the world a little. After the Doctor, the man on the right is the fifth character to show up here. He has no name as yet and no character info other than that he is an authority figure the core trio of Liana, Adongo and Opiyo listen to. Might as well flesh him out a little: he is in his mid-fifties, originally American of Tanzanian extraction, and is one of the founders of the Resurgent settlement along with Liana's parents. 
The movie-reel type container Opiyo is holding is full of cables - I haven't decided what for but it may have something to do with the irrigation system that can be glimpsed behind them.
Stylistically, I've stuck with the alternating black and white zones but I've added a bit of hatching to suggest grey tones. The character proportions aren't quire right, giving their bodies a bit of a distorted look, something I've noticed I'm prone to when drawing digitally, especially when I've been away from the drawing desk for a while. There is a character page for Spun Off that had the same problem. It doesn't bother me that much here but I'll need to work on that before returning to regular production.
